AIAVAP’s After-School classes are designed to expose children to age appropriate fine art concepts, and skills and a variety of exciting materials that working artists use in their art. AIAVAP teaches art that empowers children to communicate effectively through the foundations of drawing and painting!
In these fine art classes, students develop skills in the foundations of drawing and painting through explorations of line, shape and color.
In Portfolio Development classes for ages 11-18, students refine their skills in drawing and painting. 6th & 7th graders interested in applying to specialized art high schools (such as LaGuardia) can focus on work applicable for their portfolio and auditions. High School Students can focus on creating artwork for their college entry portfolios.
All faculty in AIAVAP are highly qualified with significant experience training in Fine Arts.
