Angela Tripi-Weiss, cited as the best art program developer in Susan Manzell's book, "How To Get your Child an Excellent Education in NYC", is a three time Blackboard award winning artist, educator, teacher trainer and curriculum/program developer. She leads Arts in Action VAP, with a focus on the development of children’s voices through fine arts. Her unique, progressive fine arts curriculum for Arts in Action Visual Art Program teaches young art students an age-appropriate visual art language that is sequentially structured and skills based.
Arts in Action VAP's art day camp for ages 5 to 16 offers TEEN PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT for teenagers, ages 12 to 16, who are considering applying for specialized art high schools or colleges. Teens are offered the opportunity to develop quality works of art in a variety of mediums for their portfolios. PLEASE NOTE: Teen campers will be grouped according to age and ability level, and must apply for PM art camp, and can apply to AM camp in conjunction with PM camp for more time to work on their assigned PM camp compositions.
